I made an innocent post yesterday imploring Nigerians not to engage in any undemocratic activity.
I didn’t know some Àwọnlókàns who happen to be my FB friends read it.
Today, when they felt their candidate had won, they descended on me with banters!
The lesson of that is we shouldn’t trade friendship for politics.
True democrats don’t do so.
Even if your candidate wins, Lawal Adetayo W and the Chokeable Doctor will always be friends.
Remember the Shitta–Bey and Dosunmu brothers of the Second Republic.
