There’s no doubt about the fact that if I wake up in the morning and the first person I see is Trump, I’ll go back to bed. That’s because Trump is an example of ‘eni aijiri’. That is a person that one must not meet first thing in the morning.
Maybe those who have been reading my scribblings would note I hardly write on the Whitehouselip! That’s deliberate.
To my belief, even though he’s flippant, he’s far above Nigeria’s dumb president. At least, he’s adding to intellectual discussion in his unintelligent way.
But then, the fact that he’s covid positive, with the wife, should have called for pitying his layman’s attitude to the virus rather than mocking him as a person.
I still believe dehumanizing one person is dehumanizing all people.
My thoughts and prayers are with all battling with the virus!
