So, we have helped the rich to celebrate their festival. I used the word “helped” advisedly because what benefit is there for a prisoner to be checking what time it is?
Now, we all must go back to live our normal lives after the festivities. We have to wake up from fakery and go back to our hovels and start living our “e go better” life
Oh!
I forgot that some of us would have taken or smuggled some of the drinks, food or even common matches from the houses of the rich. Those should last us for some time.
Our junior brother is building some Palace and we’re stealing common nails.
Tomorrow go better!
One thing I love about African democracy is that it’s undemanding. It even allows our representatives to be enjoying on our behalf.
As long as they give us stomach infrastructure, we’re alright. It’s as if we’ve never eaten.
I guess the food and urgent 2k will be enough for us until the next festivities.
As for our so-called leaders,
ma na wo wa sa,
igunnu lo ni tapa,
tapa lo ni’ gunnu,
Ma no wo wa sa
Spend our money carefreely
Igunnu masquerade owns the Tapa
Tapa people own the igunnu
Spend as if there’s no tomorrow!
