Check out how much is being expended on the legislature. Check out how much is being expended on the executive arm of the government.
How much was spent on President Buhari’s medical trip abroad, to treat his ear infection? How much does this country spend on each federal legislator. Why are we still spending so much on the presidential fleet while Nigeria can not boast of having a national carrier.
So many ‘white elephant’ projects are still being embarked upon by some states, eg the ongoing Osun State Airport project, the proposed Ekiti State Governor’s Office,etc
What about the alleged profligacy of the last regime – ‘alleged’ because the courts are yet to determine the veracity of the cases.
We are just too docile. Really we are ‘two million mumu’, with apologies to the masked maestro, Lagbaja!
Nobody is prepared to bell the cat. But we are dying everyday. Truly, a people deserves its ruling class.
