Shylocks! – Adewale Sobowale

These are, certainly, daunting times.

These are times when you know the true labor unions.

These are also times when you can freely guess who true religious leaders are.

I learn that even now, some so called missionary schools are already claiming that due to the situation on ground, their teachers might not get paid.

It’s a surprise because the pupils paid last term’s school fees. But then, the proprietors might be in a better place to explain.

I’ve also learnt that some 419 so called philanthropists prefer making their donations to the government publicly. At the end of the day, the said donations are only publicity stunts. Meanwhile, many of the scammers’ employees lack the basic essentials of life.

Some states are not better off. Their governors have seen the scourge as a way of scamming both national and international agencies.

By the way, I do think if you’re a tax payer, the government should protect you when you’re not able to pay such taxes due to no fault of yours!

This is a problem that’s obviously showing some people’s beastly traits!!

By the way, we should praise those companies who are using the period of this lockdown to make their employees attain greater heights. Apart from paying salaries, they are actually making them do some online courses to boost their efficiency.

Whatever they learn remains theirs!
