I believe there’s a story of the tortoise gathering all the sense of animals in a cap. I’m not too sure about the Alawiye stories we used to read in primary school now.
Ojo ti pe!
Agba na ti nde!!
Even if it turns out that I’m wrong, there’s no doubting the fact that Mr Ibikunle Amosun is the wisest person in Ogun state.
The rest of us are just mere onlookers!
If it’s not so, how can a man who was initially a senator and then spent eight years as governor, be aiming to go back to the Senate?
Gbogbo wa de joko iranu!
By the way, what is it that he has achieved that no mortal has ever done before?
Oho! He constructed an air conditioned pedestrian bridge at Ita Eko. That’s great, ain’t it?
At least, those who do not have air conditioners at home will have an opportunity of feeling how soothing an air conditioner could be.
Ok, let’s give it to him that he constructed some roads. But then, to whom much is given, much more is expected! Did he construct those roads with his personal money? Another thing is that open gutters are the best for my people, aren’t they?
And he has given us much more by building a terrific complex in Ibara Housing Estate. That personal residence of his also has what some have described as a bunker.
In his, Anu’mo o kin f’owo nu’le, style of governance, he even had a construction company erect a multi storey building for him near the Ibara bridge.
I understand he made Ogun State Investment Corporation buy the edifice. And I suspect he must have been paid.
Meanwhile, did his government develop the people? What’s his government’s impact on agriculture? Especially, given the fact that Ogun state is bordering Lagos State! Why is it that Lagos had to go as far as to Kebbi State to strike a bargain for its Lake Rice?
Sebi Yoruba ni, enikan kii je k’ilu fe!
Yes, he has captured all the wisdom of Ogun State in his cap of foolishness!!!
