On Sex For Marks! – Adewale Sobowale

The so-called pastors who involve themselves in such unforgivable acts are the scums who made some of us decide the best pastors are our hearts.

They are liars and scammers masquerading with the name of God aided by the inbuilt corruption in the system.

But then, is there any institution in the country that’s truly free of such sexual predators?

We praise the BBC for their efforts, but some questions come to mind.

Since the BBC focused on West Africa, are two countries, Ghana and Nigeria, really representative of the whole region?

By the way, how many higher institutions are in both countries? I’m asking because to use just a university in each country could be termed a mischievous job.

In any case, it didn’t take the BBC to discover certain similar incidents. At least, the OAU case is still fresh in our memories.

If not for the shame the perpetrators had brought to bear on the country, one could even call the BBC to task as to whether it’s appropriate to center on West Africa.

But then, ohun ti o da o l’oruko meji, koda ni.

Let’s do our very best to clean the Augean stable of phaedophilism!
