The rich do things in their own ways. They can afford to. This is due to the fact that if it’s a matter of cash, they have more than enough.
That the richest Blackman has been eyeing Arsenal Football Club of England is no longer news. Dangote is a strong Arsenal fan.
Unlike most Nigerians, he will only be walking his talk with his greenbacks. Normally, the best Nigerians do is to personalise these clubs. However, when it comes to supporting the clubs financially, they are nowhere to be found.
OK, yes, I nearly forgot, they do support them with their bets!
Mr Dangote has really done well.
He is a pillar of sports.
He has given so much money to indigenous clubs. He has also founded football clubs for his numerous companies.
Not only that, he has revived almost all the dead football clubs in the country.
We now have clubs like Stationery Stores, Shooting Stars, Abiola Babes, Raccah Rovers, NPA, etc. In fact, all of them are doing great now because he has put so much money in the clubs that none of the players is thinking of going abroad again. I am told Nigerian players and even other players that are not Nigerians who are abroad are trying to come to Nigeria.
He is even planning to introduce professional street soccer. Of course, age grade soccer is one of his plans. When this is done, the clubs will not have much problems in scouting for talents.
To crown it all, he has given every family all his products. In fact, there are plans for his companies to supply the poor with their products so that everybody will be happy.
Arsenal Football Club will be playing in England but they will be based in Nigeria.
