I can remember posting on fb yesterday about freedom of detainees, provision of basic amenities and employment.
Yeah, Sowore and Dasuki have been released from jail by their kidnappers. However, I just wanted to bring to people’s notice the manner of their release.
The attorney general of the federation had to instruct the SSS before they were released. Since the attorney general, in the peculiar Nigerian setting, won’t do something as serious as releasing people of ‘special importance’ without the say so of the president, we now know that people’s freedom mean absolutely nothing to this regime.
By the way, who knows the others that are languishing in jail houses across the country?
People’s freedoms can’t just be at the mercy of whoever is the piper in this government.
In fact, I suggest those that have been released, apart from being apologized to should be given due compensation.
This is not saying they should not answer to cases in courts of competent jurisdiction.
As for the administration, I believe heads should roll. Some people should not be in charge of human beings!
