‘Ori yeye n mogun, tai se lo po nbe’. The aforementioned is a Yoruba saying denoting the injustice of power when used stupidly.
I just learnt about one hundred men of the Nigerian police force were sent to make sure Bob Risky didn’t celebrate his birthday.
Bob Risky himself ‘spoke with his legs’!
Omo olomo, one never knows, they could be attractive to the police. And they would do the ‘thing’ for free.
There’s no free meal, even in Freetown, not to talk of Kosofe!
But, why are we like this?
Who’s being disturbed by Bob Risky? They’ve chosen their own lifestyle which has become a brand.
I still insist the police and we as a people are not towing the right path.
When shall we stop treating a minor ringworm and start thinking about the perennial leprosy that’s affecting our nation?
May I ask who’s going to pay for the services of the 100 policemen sent to make sure Bob Risky’s event didn’t hold.
There’s no doubting the fact that one of the myriads of problems faced by Nigeria is insecurity. And the leadership of the force could still spare a hundred men for a wild goose chase?
I think we are all candidates for Aro Mental Hospital!
