There are churches and there are churches.
Let’s first go into the political spectrum, what do we find? A country being poorly managed by charlatans.
In the religious circle too, the leaders are no better.
All what the people governing us should do are being taken to God. It won’t be surprising, therefore, when poor Nigerians start begging God for electric power, water, and even jobs, for instance.
The religious houses, especially the churches, are therefore filled with smart alecs who, because they’re street smart, could lie to the extent that the dead could even rise.
That’s probably what gave birth to the current toast of the Nigerian social media. She’s called mummy G.O.
If one has the grace to look into her utterances on the pulpit, one couldn’t help being shocked.
She hollers a lot of what could be termed inanities as sermons.
In so far as she has the right to utter pure rubbish, I tend to blame the people who sit to listen to the gibberish.
Of course, they too have the right to listen to nonsense.
But then, when shall we wise up to let those who should go to Aro go in peace?
