The events of today have left a very sour taste in the mouth. I’m referring to the events in a Nigerian court in Abuja, where Omoyele Sowore was apprehended by some state-sanctioned hoodlums.
I understand the trial judge had to excuse herself by returning to the chambers.
I was praising Buhari when Mr Sowore was released yesterday. I should not be blamed for expecting him to do the right thing.
It’s only that if you put people who are used to sleeping on the floor on a well-laid bed, they must fall back to the floor where they belong.
For Nigeria to be truly free, these pretenders must be removed.
