I learn Edo politics is now so low that one Kabaka was saying on the campaign ground that people shouldn’t vote for Obaseki because he’s childless.
Haba!
I believe Kabaka must have been tombo drunk before he could utter such a petty statement. But then, I wouldn’t blame him.
I would rather blame the people who were watching his show of shame.
Tell me, how does having a child or not affect the capability of a person to rule. How does it affect democracy.
May be in Kabaka’s constitution there’s a provision that those who are childless can not be governor.
But then, I have a great consolation that, by his unfortunate statement, he’s only reminding God who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
I’m solidly behind Obaseki in his gubernatorial efforts!
