The excuse of Queens College is that the girl was dressed for a drama presentation. They also said the security man took the law into his hands.
Hmm…
I should have thought if the girl was going to take part in any drama presentation, her mother would have been in the know. If her mother had known, she wouldn’t have been insisting on taking the girl home.
Again, I wouldn’t think it right for a pupil to dress for a drama event from home. Rather, I would have expected the teacher in charge to ask pupils to bring their kits to school. When it’s time for the drama presentation, they would then be asked to go and dress up.
As for the security man, I really don’t approve of his actions. Now that the college has washed its hands off his acts, he would now be left to dance alone.
The security man might probably be the loser!
As for the school, I believe there must be some untruth in their excuse, or better, a lack in communication. If they are telling the truth, then the gatehouse ought to have been informed.
By the way, what’s the content of Queens College letter after the incident?
The security man will end up a solitary pawn on the chess board!
