I would rather say things to their faces when they’re alive rather than after they’ve departed this side of the earth.
The only good thing he did was to release Nigerians from the fangs of the hate filled government of Buhari. However, we didn’t know the suffering of Nigerians was to continue.
He introduced many projects that he knew were wasteful. He did it for his selfish interests.
He masterminded the the Structural Adjustment Program and Nigeria has never remained the same. He connived with his wife to organize Better Life for Rural Women,
Are the women better off?
He banned and unbanned politicians for his selfish interest.
To crown it all, he annulled the June 12, 1993 elections which was won by his friend, the business mogul, Basorum MKO Abiola. He thus set the nation on fire.
Nigeria has not recovered from his misdeeds. It couldn’t have with the pretenders in the seats of power.
Babangida is a bad person. But then, he could only have climbed to power in a gullible society!
