I learned an African pastor has promised to wake Kobe Byrant who died a couple of days ago in Calabas, California when the helicopter in which he, his daughter and other passengers were travelling crashed.
Let’s agree he has such powers. If he calls himself a pastor, who will he be like since he is giving a condition? And wait for it, the condition is that he must have a percentage of the property of the man he’s going to revive.
I’m not a pastor, but I’m more conversant with the bible than most of the ignoramuses parading themselves as pastors. When The Saviour was on this side of the earth, he made himself popular with the poor rather than the rich.
We never heard of Jesus the Christ collecting even a dime for the landmark miracles he performed.
Let’s even look at it from another angle. If the guy succeeds in waking up such a popular person, he’s made for life. That’s because people will start worshipping him.
Of course, he’ll be wealthy!
He, therefore, doesn’t need to be asking for anything before doing the needful. It seems the poverty that’s affecting our continent is manifesting itself in various ways. People just want to make their wealth through the most implausible reasons.
Let’s look for more reasonable ways of making money if we must!
