I understand there was a crossover before December 31st at Eko Hotel!
The controversial deejay Naira Marley had a show there on the 30th. As usual, people did pay for tables in amounts I wouldn’t want to glorify by mentioning.
However, some that had money and those that didn’t have decided to enter, without the disturbance of fences.
They simply jumped the fence!
Some of them were not so fortunate. They were herded into Black Marias to spend their crossover at the Kirikiri maximum prisons.
Some Passover!
What beats my imagination is the fact that the hotel couldn’t preempt the riotous situation. What manner of security did the hotel put in place?
And the police, I would have thought the spraying of warm water could have nipped the trouble in the bud.
Anyway, the detainees might spend sometime stamping on the devil’s head at Kirikiri!
