The video going viral of a policeman claiming he read ‘elect-elect’ and purporting that disbanding of the notorious special anti-riot squad of the Nigeria Police Force can’t work, to say the least, a justification of the unjustifiable.
His plethora of reasons doesn’t hold water. Indeed, he can go tell it to the marines.
He’s even lucky to be earning a ‘princely’ sum of 53k as a police sergeant. Others DON’T even have a job, and joblessness cuts across the board.
Isn’t it the same in practically all sectors?
I’m of the opinion that our people’s needs are not too much. Once the people in governance provide the basic amenities and sources of livelihood for them, they won’t even mind their corruption.
But then, he who the gods want to destroy will never listen to reasonable advice!
