Amongst other things, it’s quite apparent to me that the average Nigerian lacks the senses of fairness and courage!
If some could be bold enough to announce the death of a living person, it’s equally their business not only to pull down their announcements but also to tender unreserved apologies to the individual concerned and the entire public when it’s apparent that they’ve made a mistake.
But then, Mr Babatunde Omidina a.k.a. Baba Suwe had to ‘annul’ the death sentence passed on him by some uncharitable fellows who had found no need to acknowledge they were wrong.
I’m also aware of the announcement by Mr Latin who has proved himself to be a friend in deed to Baba Suwe!
The fact is that the truth must be told, announcing deaths before confirmation is not fair!
