Aiwo! – Adewale Sobowale

To Yoruba men, the topic should be familiar. For those of my readers who aren’t Yoruba, I’m appealing to them to research its meaning. For the ladies, don’t you think I’m a chauvinist, I’m giving you the honour to either research or not. But I don’t think it will be too much for you to also research!

What is this world becoming?

A so-called prophet ordered members of his church to remove their underwears and wave them in the air. While waving their underwears, they were also told to hold their private parts so that angels could impregnate them and bless them.

So, like dummies, the congregation too foolishly undertook the removal of their underwears.

I can just imagine the thongs, v strings,G strings, bikini, cheeky, Victoria’s secret. lacie cheeky, lacie strappy, etc for the ladies. On the men’s side there would have been briefs, boxers, boxer briefs, trunks, jock straps. There would also have been those, amongst the men, whose Moses’ rods would be too big to be restrained by any underwear. Those ones would normally be pantless.

All the underwears would have made a rainbow flag of shame. However, do we have shame?

Some might have conveniently forgotten to wear clean underwears since they never knew they would be having an operation show your pants. Some of such pants might bring a convusive child back to life with their odoriferous power.

Some families would definitely be members of that devil’s church. Let’s agree that an idiotic man who is a member of that church gets married to a dunce. Must their children also be tomfools?

To declare the behaviour of the people as weird is definitely an understatement. The best way to classify it is what Fela Kuti had sung in one of his widely accepted songs, they were taking part in the actvities of a, ‘craze world’.

That prophet is lacking in finesse and touche. It’s my belief that his thoughts are dirty.

I know asking members to remove their underwears must be existing in his own bible. Bible of the of the most successful sickos!

But like we used to say when I was a brat, blessed is he that cheats successfully and cursed is he that gets cheated!
