Some people have been saying the fact that there wasn’t fuel scarcity during the last yuletide means the Buhari government is on the right path!
I really do disagree with their position.
In the face of their inability to feed themselves, who’ll think of travelling anywhere, especially to places where their hunger won’t be assuaged?
So are some people saying one achievement of the Abacha regime was the stability of the Naira viz a viz the dollar? I believe those people do not know what they are talking about.
The human person normally yearns for freedom. In a regime where most economic activities rest with the head of state like the Abacha regime, why won’t the dollar sit tight?
At least, I can still remember vividly that some stinking fuel was imported by Miss Head of State!
So were other crimes to humanity committed by the terrible regime.
I believe it’s blackmail to the memories of those who died unjustifiable deaths under the Abacha regime to maintain such a position.
Coming back to the Buhari autocracy, if some people are eating from the crumbs of Aso Rock, should those of us who are not be zombistic?
