One is normally piqued at the disturbing news that come out of Nigeria. It’s a given that the government is not doing enough to care for the people. I say this because that’s what they’re elected(?) to do.
But then are we, the people, not complicit in where we’ve found ourselves? I very much believe a goverment is a representative of the stage in life of a people.
The fact that government officials get away with all the booties and we can only retire to our cocoons and say it’s their time, is our stage in life.
But I fervently believe that heaven helps those who help themselves!
However, the rate at which camps in which fellow humans are more or less imprisoned leaves much to be desired. In fact Adolf Hitler has been put to shame by the level in which a few Nigerians are subjecting their fellows to various levels of inhumanity.
We’ve talked about government, pray, is it the government that asked people to keep others in what I would call concentration camps?
At this rate, there will hardly be any state in the country without a concentration camp where the concept of humanity is being debased.
People are kept hungry, they are beaten, they are hanged, the women are raped, and other such beastly treatments are meted out to Nigerians by fellow Nigerians.
We just need to put our thinking caps on and do away with the evil low-rent monsters amongst us.
Such people are actually living in a stage that’s very much below the Hobbessian state of nature!
