The sad loss of Pa Fasoranti’s daughter, like all other unnecessary deaths, is most regrettable.
May God comfort all those who have lost their loved ones to the terrorists.
But one thing that keeps troubling me is the reaction of the presidency to this particular untimely death.
Why is it that the presidency is on the defensive? Some have said the death was caused by Fulani herders . The presidency maintains it was caused by armed robbers.
Which of the two groups is better?
Is it not a fact that herders terrorize people? The armed robbers, too, are not to be found wanting.
A good government should have been more concerned with the safety of human lives rather than engaging in the useless debate.
Pray, what are soldiers doing in the barracks while the public is being held ransom?
I trust that the soldiers will go and restore the situation to normalcy if given the order.
