When we talk, they can’t but call us wailers. But I think being called a wailer as far as Mr Buhari’s despotic government is concerned could be regarded as a compliment.
The news in Nigeria now is about onion. Onion is now so scarce that it could be regarded much more than gold. I’m made to understand that it’s always scarce at this time every year.
If that’s so, what plans does the government have for this perennial scarcity? The fact remains that this government is no government.
I still object to the existence of a government that refuses to care for the people. If there’s scarcity of onions, what’s happening to other food items?!
Indeed, does Nigeria have any food security?
Ok! I’m sorry to be asking such a ‘rude’ question. Rude because it was glaring during the #endsars protests that food was locked away in private confines of the ruling class.
Let’s begin praying earnestly that this type of rudderless government doesn’t come into power again. But then, we’ve got to work for it!
