I always wonder what manner of beings some people are. Whenever they see you’ve made a kill, they will make sure they pour sand into your gari. Once that is done it will no longer be fit for consumption.
Such spoilsports!
OK, it wasn’t easy catching this target. He is such a busy man. Some might say he has been busy doing nothing. Oh well, nothing could be something.
And some people are bent on recalling him from the house. Anyway that’s just a minor diversion. When he is ready for them, he will just spend some tens of millions on their leaders.
And that will be that.
But he is still trying to do the court rounds. He will seek adjournments and question the legality of the courts and even the judges to hear the case. He will also see to it that once a court is about to hear the case we will take the case to a higher court. He will continue playing the game until election year.
The people from INEC are behaving as if they don’t need money. He wonders who doesn’t need money in a cash strapped Nigeria.
But then, the fault is not theirs. He is suffering from traitors to the cause. I don’t think they realise what they are making them do. Before his election, he must have settled practically everyone. May be they did not know. He did not contest the elections free of charge. In the same vein, He is as smart as they come. Did they think he was a fool to have spent so much and fail to recoup his investment. Haba, he doesn’t invest in wasteful ventures.
He brought civilisation to the state. Abi, what do you call his investment in state of the art cars and power bikes? Really, he knows most of his constituents first saw their pictures in magazines and newspapers. They never knew those machines existed in real life.
Why then are they complaining that he did not bring any project home to his constituents.
At the centre too, he is well respected as a dogged fighter. There is no house in which he had never fought.
He remembers that woman from Lagos. She thought only Lagos has area boys. He really gave her some of his worst. And what’s more, he went to her very street. Nothing happened!
He even waxed a compact disc. Abi, who has never heard of, Ajeku iya?
For all this he was called upon to be honoured. But some people are just not too happy. Let them come and he will give them some millions.
As for those who deemed it fit to honour him, they know he really deserves the honour. They are on the receiving end and they do know how hard it is to get exclusives. However, they don’t need to beg him for exclusives.
He is the exclusive. So he does make their news!
