When I see people blaming others because they are “ranting” on social media, I just laugh!

Yes, I laugh in hindsight!!

There are so many issues that a single person might not be able to solve. This may be because they are lonely, they have reached their tethers’ end or they may be looking for some empathy.

Some may just want to air their worries and their challenges could be of vital importance to other people.

After all, there is a saying that a problem shared is half-solved.

By the way, some of us might not have made certain choices if we had spoken out. But since we never did, we were betrayed and the betrayers are now saying we are toxic!

For some others, airing their worries on social media might be a lifesaver. Some of us have the ability to internalise our challenges. But some just can’t.

Would we rather those who can’t commit the final act?

I urge people to try and understand where a person is coming from. The best they can do if they can’t empathise with the concerned person is to read – if it’s worth reading – and go (waka pass)

That’s why I’ve been trying to reduce my FB friends!
The Yorubas say if a god can’t make me better, it should leave me in the same way!!
