When we look around us, it’s really difficult for some to determine whether it’s the Nigerian government or the people we can call abiku!
As far as I’m concerned, and those who have been reading my scribblings could bet, my conclusion is the people.
I really don’t understand why we must be so much entangled, like an umbilical cord, to the aprons of the so-called ruling mafia.
Neither do I see any reason why we must be selling ourselves so cheaply every four years. Even if we wanted to sell ourselves, I believe we ought to have put lot of price on our various heads.
But, we’re showing we’re so cheap by selling our birth rights for a morsel of porridge.
And that’s why the people we elect(?) hardly have any respect for our sensibilities. They believe they’ve bought our conscience for the next four years and nothing could prevent them from doing whatever to our destiny.
I hear someone close to the seat of power has declared Mr Buhari as a blessing to Nigeria and the world in general.
That’s true!
We have now realized that we should not make the mistake of allowing his types to emerge as rulers again!!
