So, 31 lawyers of Northern extraction want to defend the embattled Kyari!

Nigeria is a country of ‘nothing is impossible. but then nothing sensible is happening. If not, the lawyers who are supposedly learned ought to know it’s only lawyers who have been inducted into a US bar that can defend an accused.
The best Nigeria could do in this case is to plead the idea that every state has a right over its territory and its people. But then, are there no bilateral treaties between Nigeria and the US concerning the exchange and eventual trial of accused persons?
In any case, Nigeria’s position is put under further strain by the Igboho and Kanu issues. Like lawyers would say, ‘He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.’
The lawyers from the north are only wasting precious time.
