Two pugilists, Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran were doing what they knew how to do best in a WBC welterweight contest in Louisiana, USA. However as a result of the punishment the latter had received from the former in the earlier rounds, especially in the seventh, in the middle of round eight, he threw in the towel by hollering, ‘no mas’!
No mas is Spanish for no more!
I believe the smartest decision I took in 2016 was walking away from a work place where I was terribly abused. Apart from being perceived as a nobody, I was abused emotionally, socially and spiritually.
Especially spiritually!
I typed especially because that place is generally assumed to be a holy place. However, like I had been telling those who cared to listen, it would have been a sin if I had not worked there.
In the first instance, in that place, if you are not a priest, you are seen as working in the wrong place. Your faith rests in the hands of so many people.
