It’s no longer a secret that the late Timothy Adegoke, a master’s student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State is dead.
He died at the Hilton Hotel and Resort in Ife where he had lodged after his arrival from Abuja.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. His death is rather unfortunate.
He had gone to sit for examinations.
Naturally, when such incidents happen, it’s only natural for law enforcement agents to arrest those who could give them an inkling of what happened.
So, it’s no surprise that the owner of the hotel, Ramon Adedoyin, who also owns several other businesses was arrested.
The import of this write up is to discourage media trial. People should let the security agents complete their investigations and arraign the accused in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Only this would be fair to everyone!
