I thought I was too sharp to enter a ‘one chance’ bus. I felt I was too smart to be ‘419ed’. Indeed I felt I was too street wise to be conned.
The saying is true that if a misfortune is to happen to someone who is abroad he will take a flight back home just to receive the misfortune.
I had pains in my upper right arm earlier in the week. It was so serious that i felt it could be a stroke.
I went to clinic where promadol was prescribed for me. I promptly went to one of the reputable pharmaceutical stores – Precious – to buy the drug.
When the attendant said the drug was 1110 naira I felt the drug must be very potent. However I got the shock of my life when someone bought the same drug for eighty naira in another store!
