Is it not interesting that Nigeria’s decision makers, at these nebulous times, have found it convenient to muster some 185 troops to Guinea Bissau ostensibly as a ‘peace keeping mission’?
I’m aware of the fact that Nigeria is a signatory to the ECOWAS defence pact, a financially active one at that.
But then, as the Yoruba will say, when a problem is affecting one and their child, they will definitely solve theirs first.
The basic fact is that Nigerian security could also do with some help!
Could someone, please, inform the decision makers that we just can not afford to be keeping the peace outside while our own home is being razed with fire!!
