One thing about the Western world is that they are so inquisitive and very ready to learn, learn and relearn.

But for us, we’re so ashamed of our cultural values that we take pride in referring to our mother tongue as vernacular. We tend to forget one thing. A child will naturally think in their mother tongues before converting to the borrowed language.

I understand that here, foreigners teach the Yoruba language.

For some of us, giving our children traditional names is araokoish. Who gives their children oriki these days?

We can go on and on, we conveniently forget that ile la tin keso rode!
