While grieving with those who allegedly lost their loved ones, I just wanted to emphasize that I’m not making a post for any likes or comments, as usual. Rather, I’m using it as evidence that I spoke up in this season of anomie.
Who goes about giving government a month-long notice of a protest? These young ones did. If the government is not an aditi oloko, it should have engaged them.
By the way, we’ve seen government making laws with alacrity. But then, most of these laws are the selfish ones that benefit the ruling elite.
How long did it take government to bring down the price of rice? By the way, those people I’ve been in contact with are saying they have not seen the rice.
The elected representatives of the people should come out to not only plead with the people, they should tell them what they’re doing to assuage their pains.
There’s already violence in the stomachs of the people!
