I learnt General Buhari was nearly assassinated at the Argungu fishing festival yesterday
The incident has brought mixed reactions from Nigerians. But from the little I read, if most Nigerians happen to have the power of life and death over their President, they’ll gladly choose the latter over and over again.
I beg to differ!
In as much as I don’t like the situation in Nigeria today, human life and freedom are so sacred to me that I would not even want my enemies to die.
What beats my imagination is the fact that a man could beat the elaborate President’s security apparatus and try to attack him.
Someone could be heard on the video asking,
‘Who is this man?’
