I understand the Lagos state governor has launched a probe into the cause of Dr Vwaere Diaso’s death because an elevator was faulty at the General Hospital, Odan.
May the soul of the doctor haunt her killers!
She died an unnecessary and untimely death!!
But having said that, I wouldn’t think a probe is necessary, after all, the state’s first lady has said her death was a result of an arrow being plunged into the health sector.
This governor’s wife who graduated as a medical doctor from the elite University of Lagos also earned a post-graduate diploma in Hospital and Health Management. Her other academic laurels are a Diploma in Anaesthesia, a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Business Administration.
Also, she worked in the state’s Ministry of Health for 25 years and she became Chief Medical Director and CEO in two hospitals.
I went into that the trouble of stating her qualifications to understand where she is coming from. She’s definitely knowledgeable.
She surely knows what she’s talking about. As far as I’m concerned since she has stated it’s an arrow, the most logical thing will be for Lagosians to be defending themselves with shields.
By the way, I have some shields used by the Roman army for sale!
