Some days ago, it was reported that a media aide to Nigeria’s president, in his uncommon wisdom declared Buhari to be the best thing to have ever happened to Nigeria. According to sources, he even mentioned some nationalists who, according to him, Buhari was better than.
While some felt the media aide must be on some substance, I don’t really think so.
For Buhari to get away with all the nonsense he’s doing, and for people to be generally quiet mean Buhari is, indeed, the greatest leader Nigeria would ever have.
Yesterday, Buhari himself was reported to have dictated what reporters should write. According to him, they should wish away terrorism. That’s in spite of the fact that nobody knows when or where the next act of terrorism will happen in Nigeria.
The mishmash was then crowned by the master liar himself. A man who when he says ‘good morning’, wise people are advised to go check whether it’s actually morning. The minister of misinformation, who declared bandits believe in one Nigeria unlike those groups seeking a division of the country.
What other evidence do we need that Nigerians are done for with these frauds in power?
