No matter how we look at it, the United States have made a point.
They have shown the rule of law is very paramount to the success of democracy.
Some may ask if the rule of law is strictly supported by the United States in other countries. I will answer them by saying they do things that will simply favour them.
Some may call it positive selfishness.
The fact that a president of the most powerful nation in the world could have impeachment charges filed against him and heavens did not fall shows the developing countries still have lots of lessons to learn in democracy.
Can that happen in Nigeria?
