Professor Wole Soyinka aka Kongi (from his play “Kongi’s Harvest”), one of Africa’s greatest writers, humanist and activist recently had his visa revoked by the United States.
The 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature winner explained the reasons he thought the US revoked his visa.
He referred to the letter of revocation as a “love letter.”
In a statement laced with satire, he drove the point home.
There is a possibility that he might write a play about the incumbent American President.
