You may not be too far from the truth if you call her a woman of destiny. Calling her the lady with the magic wand might be right. But I prefer to call her – the Vice President of the United States – Kamala Harris, the game changer.
Was it not on June 27 that former president Donald Trump outshone President Joe Biden in a debate in the historic city of Atlanta, Georgia? The debate made Biden drop out of the presidential race. He then picked his vice, Kamala Harris, to continue the race. Of course, it took Biden some days before shifting ground.
But the result is getting apparent by the day.
Harris is 59, and Trump is 78!
Kamala is a lady, and that may give her an edge in becoming the first woman president of the United States.
Kamala is of mixed parentage; her father is Black, and her mother was Asian, which may give her more advantage. Meanwhile, Trump fell into the trap of stigmatizing her pigmentation when he said, Kamala suddenly turned Black, thereby attacking her race.
Trump’s politics is divisive, while Kamala has vowed to transcend the divisive battles of the past.
Trump is more controversial than Kamals.
Trump is a billionaire, while Kamala has a working-class background.
While Trump is fiercely passionate about the borders and getting migrants out of the US, Kamala appears to be more lenient to migrants.
One could go on and on!
Trump would have preferred to have Biden. Indeed, he is still mourning him!
