Authorities in the United Kingdom have increased the minimum income required for the sponsor of relatives there on a family visa by 55%.
British citizens and residents will need a minimum annual salary of 29,000 pounds to sponsor their family for a family visa.
According to the British government, it would be the first time the income requirement would be changed in a decade. There are indications that by early 2025, the minimum requirement would have increased twice.
