In my last post, I pled with folks who have a grouse against the INEC– announced results of Nigeria’s presidential election to go to the judiciary for redress.
Incidentally, the results were announced in the middle of the night in Nigeria. A Yoruba saying asks what a farmer will be looking for at night!
The bible says a thief will come in the night!!
With the video evidence scattered all over the place, I believe the aggrieved might have a good case.
By the way, what did the international observers have to say about the election?
People are claiming the results derived from the polling booths are different from what the electoral body eventually announced.
There are reports of people not being allowed to vote.
I believe all these, if combined, may convince the judges.
But then, ká l’ákátá lọ ná, ká tó f’àbọ̀ sọ́dọ̀ adìẹ, let’s chase away the fox before returning to the hen!
If we combine the votes secured by Labour party and PDP, wouldn’t the combination have beaten APC hands down? But both candidates and their parties never saw eye to eye.
Their pride went before their fall!
