Saying the Nigerian Presidential election has further revealed the inherent divide between our people will certainly be an understatement,

What comes to my mind is what our problems are.

So, we’ re quarreling over who owns where.

Could we put on our thinking caps?.

If we aren’t careful, we might be laying a foundation for the destruction of our country,

So, if you’re living in a particular state, you should lose your basic freedoms including the electoral ones. I mean the right to pick a candidate of your choice.

By the way, what’s the percentage of real Lagosians among the so-called defenders of Lagos. I have not lived in the eastern part of Nigeria, but some are claiming it’s not possible to buy property there.

Let’s assume that’s so, do two wrongs make even a fraction of a right?

I believe we’ve reached a stage to decide whether we want a Nigeria or not. We have reached a level where we must decide if we want a nation where the Rule of Law is supreme or not.

And the alternative to the Rule of Law is a state of chaos!

For we the citizen Mudas, I just can’t help pitying us. How long shall we allow ourselves to be used as canon fodder in political squabbles? Can what we get paid for our divisive efforts last us forever?

Let’s think of a nation, even a world where we respect each other’s freedom.
