Where the hell is our humanity?
I haven’t heard of any announcement of a facesaving probe to the cause of the NEEDLESS deaths. Even though we know such probes are always fruitless.
We’re basking in the gains and losses we made in the exercise. For crying out loud, how can the families and loved ones of those who died unnecessarily rejoice with us.
I can’t just imagine their feelings now. What could it be like for a son who had passed through the various levels of education, with the peculiar problems of being educated in Nigeria, only to be mowed down by stray bullets while serving his fatherland.
There was a woman in Rivers state who was carrying out her duties as an INEC official. According to stories, she was killed while going home by stray bullets.
One could go on and on!
They all died! In their prime too!!
A people really deserves its ruling class!!!
