10 dead in B.C. school shooting!

Police have confirmed 10 people are dead following a shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

CBC News reports that an active shooter alert was issued  at 3.15 pm MT by RCMP, covering a large area, including Chetwynd and Dawson Creek. Residents  were advised to stay indoors and shelter in place. That alert was issued at 6.45 pm, MT.

RCMP confirmed at the time that they were responding to an active shooter at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School.

Police later said 10 people had been found dead following the incident, including the shooter. Six people were found dead inside the school, while another died on the way to the hospital. Two more people were found dead at a home police believe is connected to the shooting.
