A security operation carried out in the city of Tobruk has led to the detention of 350 migrants of various nationalities.
The Libya Observer reports that Libya’s Anti-Illegal Migration Agency reported that intensified patrols were launched to execute targeted operations aimed at apprehending individuals violating entry laws and raiding known gathering points of illegal migrants within Tobruk municipality.
Those detained included individuals lacking identification documents, others who entered Libya via desert routes, and some who were preparing to cross the sea in an attempt to migrate.
