Rwanda effect apparent in Ireland!

Dozens of migrants are fleeing across the Irish Sea every day and setting up camp in the Irish capital amid an ongoing row with the British government over immigration

Britain passed the Illegal Immigration Bill, the King gave Royal Assent to it, and the Prime Minister promised to fly the migrants to Rwanda in the next few days.

These events have made many migrants jittery, and they are taking several measures to prevent having to be flown to Rwanda. Sadly, they have only a few options. One of the options is shifting their base to Ireland.

Daily Mail reports that many people in Ireland are very much against it as they have claimed the effect is getting ridiculous in Ireland, even as more migrants are using various means of transport to get to Dublin in a bid to dodge being deported to Rwanda.

Many of them set up camps in Dublin, and Ireland is not happy with the British government.

Meanwhile, many of the migrants had to sleep rough beside Dublin’s International Protection Office before the large authorities cleared the camp on Wednesday. The place had no toilets or washing facilities.

A coach driver, Collin Large said, he had noticed an increase in migrant passengers.

After their “shanty town” was taken down, the migrants were brought to Dublin’s Citywest hotel and a site in in Crooksling. Both have proper toilets and sanitation facilities.

Around 1,700 asylum seekers are believed to be living in Ireland after crossing the border from Northern Ireland. Some of them express their fear of being sent to Rwanda by the UK government if they had stayed.

However, the Irish authorities are not so comfortable with the fact that many migrants are taking advantage of the invisible border to avoid being deported to Rwanda.

According to the Irish government, the people seeking international protection have been moved to the two sites.
