There’s no doubting the fact that he would have had a very sound sleep. That, of course, would have been after having a meal of tuwo sinkafa or masara.
The meal itself would have been after his ablution and prayers.
But then, may I ask if he prays to the same God, we the commoners pray to?
Does he pray to the same God a person who is hungry prays to for their daily bread?
Does he pray to the same God the jobless pray to for provision of good jobs?
Does he pray to the same God the person who’s about to be robbed prays to so that the robbers will spare their lives?
Does he pray to the same God pregnant women pray to for safe delivery since hospitals are almost in a state of comatose in Nigeria?
Does he pray to the same God a parent prays to for the payment of their wards’ school fees?
Does he pray to the same God a person who’s about to commit suicide due to his bad rulership prays to?
We can go on and on!
Definitely, it’s either he’s not religious or he prays to a different god!!
