I don’t think the national assembly members in Nigeria will be able to withstand the consequences of their actions.
How dare they ask for accountability of the monies disbursed as palliatives for the poor to cushion the effects of COVID 19. There are talks that up to 5.2 billion Naira was disbursed within 72 hours.
A very efficient government!
Some have even suggested that no monies were actually given out. According to them, the people only disbursed the 5000 Naira from an earlier program.
Smart, aren’t they?
But members of the national assembly now ask to look into the books in order to confirm what was actually distributed.
By the way, are members of the national assembly auditors?
As a way of protesting against non auditors looking into the books, what happens?
The accountant general’s office gets burnt!
