When I consider the generality of Nigerians, I tend to shudder. I’m amazed simply because I just can’t fathom how people can be suffering amidst plenty and still find time to be smiling.
I’m further surprised that those who should know better are not visibly worried by the state of rot and neglect.
The masterstroke came with the arrest of Sowore. I’m not a supporter of Sowore.
But then, I’m a supporter of humanity. When you’re so inclined, you tend to support human rights.
However, the arrest of Sowore has convinced me Nigeria and Nigerians still have a long way to go. Could you believe some of the struggling masses are actually against Sowore.
To the best of my knowledge, I should think Sowore is actually fighting for the masses. Even if he wasn’t, his human rights should be protected.
Even, if he turns out to be a one-man protester, his rights are fully guaranteed by the constitution.
But alarmingly, it’s the so-called educated people, supported by their servants, who are mainly against him.
Instead of crying, I chose to be watching comedy.
When will Nigeria be free?
